This collection of source material is drawn from archives with collections relating to armour plate. The data is mainly of two types:

  • Transcriptions of interesting documents. Every effort has ben made to make these as accurate as possible. An archive reference has been provided so that readers can visit the archive and refer to the original material.
  • Numerical data, which is provided in tables. In order to make these more manageable some of these have been separated into a number of different documents.
